You can find more details about your exam day by visiting your state's licensing board website. 
If you are taking the exam at a PSI testing center, you can also find details in your student account on the PSI website. 
Another possibility is that you will receive a confirmation email containing any relevant details soon after registering. 

Where can I find my Esthetician Exam Date, Time, and Location?

You can find your exam date, time, and location by visiting the website of your state's licensing board or by accessing your PSI account. 
The online portal that you used to register should lead you to this information after you have successfully registered. This could be in the form of an email or a separate webpage. 
If you can't find your exam date, time, and location, contact your school or PSI testing center. 

What to expect on my Esthetician exam day?

On your Esthetician exam day, you can expect to be asked to show a valid ID before entering the examination room. You will also be asked to leave any personal items that do not pertain to the examination in a designated area. 
For your written exam, remember that the proctors are not allowed to communicate with you. 
After giving you the relevant instructions, they will not speak to you. 
For your practical exam, the proctors will offer instructions regarding every step of the procedures and any other relevant information. 
You are expected to perform the procedures during the set amount of time. 
You will not be allowed to ask the proctors for help unless it is an emergency. 
The products that you brought need to be properly labeled in English. 
You need to make sure you have the appropriate quantities as well because the proctors are not allowed to provide you with more. 

What to bring on my Esthetician exam day?

The items you need to bring on your exam day may differ from one state to another. 
You will need to bring an ID and pens for your written exam. Any other additional items should be communicated to you by your school/testing center. 
For your practical exam, you are expected to bring all supplies necessary for the procedures in appropriate quantities. States that perform the exam on mannequin heads will also ask you to bring your own. Alternatively, you will need to bring your own models. Keep in mind that you will have to attend to two clients during your exam. 

Do I need to bring an ID on exam day?

You do need to bring valid photo identification on exam day. 

Digital copies or photos of your ID do not qualify as valid forms of identification. 

Can I have a drink during my Esthetician exam?

You are not allowed to have drinks on your desk/in your work area during your Esthetician exam.
If you require them as part of your accommodation, make sure you submit an official request.

Can you eat during the Esthetician exam?

You cannot have any food or snacks on your desk/in your work area during your Esthetician exam.

Can I use scratch paper on the Esthetician exam?

You may be allowed to use scratch paper during your Esthetician exam. This depends on the state. 
However, if you are allowed to use it, it will be provided by the school/testing center. You do not need to bring your own. 

Can I wear headphones during the exam?

You are not allowed to wear headphones during the Esthetician exam. 
Listening to the proctors is a key part of your practical examination. 
If you require them as part of your accommodation, make sure you submit an official request. 

Can I wear a head covering during the exam?

You can wear religious head coverings during the Esthetician exam. 
Any other head coverings, such as caps, hoods, beanies, or hats 

What can trigger a flag during the Esthetician exam?

There are several behaviors that can cause you to be flagged during the Esthetician exam.
These include attempts at cheating, communicating with other students, or possessing any prohibited items such as cell phones, notes, and study materials. 
If you display any of these behaviors, you will not be allowed to continue the exam.

The way to submit an Esthetician exam accommodation request may differ from state to state. 
On average, you will be asked to complete a form and submit the relevant documentation during registration.
